SUX to DFW: Sioux Gateway Airport Offers Flights to Dallas/Fort Worth and back.
Starting on May 5, 2016, Sioux Gateway Airport will expand its flight offering to Dallas/Fort Worth, giving Siouxland travelers a daily chance to fly south. And, perhaps just as importantly, it allows folks from DFW—and the markets it connects to around the world—to come to Sioux City.
As American Airlines’ largest hub, Dallas/Fort Worth is a top destination for Siouxland’s business and leisure travelers. It’s convenient not only for its direct access to Texas destinations, but also for the direct flights it can offer to more than 200 markets in over 25 countries.
“The addition of south-bound air service to Dallas, Texas validates the strength of our market and will complement our existing east-bound service to Chicago,” Darrell Jesse, President of the Sioux Gateway Airport Board of Trustees said in the press release, “Travelers will experience easier access to southern and western destinations and should continue to support Sioux Gateway Airport to ensure long term service.”
The non-stop flight is a little over 2 hours. Tickets for the daily flights between SUX and DFW are now available for purchase.
