Mask Requirement Lifted
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is no longer enforcing the use of face coverings. Effective Tuesday, April 19, 2022 Sioux Gateway Airport guests will no longer be required to wear face coverings within the terminal building, until further notice.
Airline passengers are encouraged to check requirements in place at other destinations as mask requirements may still be in place.
Beginning May 7, 2025, if you're planning to travel by commercial plane, you must show a REAL ID compliant license or identification card (ID) at the airport, or comply with TSA by providing additional and accepted documentation including increased security checks which may cause delay. Date was extended to 2023 due to COVID-19.
